Game Sequels to Watch out for In 2014

Tom Clancy's Division

The Division takes place in New York three weeks after a lethal virus, released on Black Friday, has swept through the city. One by one, basic services have failed. Society has collapsed into chaos. The President invokes Presidential Directive 51, and The Division, a top-secret unit of self-supporting tactical agents, is activated. Leading seemingly ordinary lives, Division agents are trained to operate independently of command in this type of emergency situation. When the lights go out, their mission begins.

The Division was originally being developed as an eighth generation consoles exclusive.[4] However, shortly after the game's unveiling, Ubisoft released the following statement on the game's official Twitter account:

We are optimizing the experience for next gen consoles. However, we are not ruling out any platforms for the future.

Ubisoft however asks PC gamers to show interest in the game by signing petitions, and then they'll decide.
On August 20, 2013 Ubisoft announced that the game would be released for PC on Microsoft Windows as a result of the "vocal and passionate PC community."

In a Tom Clancy’s universe dedicated to realism, players can explore the once-familiar streets and landmarks of the Big Apple, now decimated by looting and overrun by clans that will do anything to survive. From Central Park to the subway to the Statue of Liberty, nowhere is safe. Discover a persistent, online, open-world New York where exploration, combat, and RPG player-progression are essential.

Assassin's Creed V

The next Assassins Creed game might take place in England or Russia, according to a report from Gaming Bolt. This news comes right after Ubisoft Producer Jade Raymond dismissed all rumours saying that the series would be going to Japan in the next instalment.

Recently, Uproxx picked up a press release, which indicates that the game might be set in the industrial revolution in England, also adding that the game is a next-gen exclusive that's slated for a release this year.

Have a look at an excerpt from the release below.
"In the events of the ongoing Industrial Revolution, Assassin's Creed V follows the story of Samuel Fey, as he enters the Assassin Order in a time of change and Templar rule.
"Fey is a successful and respectful entrepreneur, who works outside the corrupt law to guarantee the security of his own and others' futures. Taking place during the closing years of the Industrial Revolution in Victorian London, players will explore all new locales as they uncover the truth behind the hidden ongoing rebellion.
"Assassin's Creed V is the turning point for the franchise, featuring completely revised stealth and combat mechanics, powered by the next-generation Ubisoft AnvilX engine and all-new gameplay features and systems. While Assassin's Creed acts as Ubisoft's rescope for the franchise, it maintains the key touch points that the series is built upon."
Since this is an unconfirmed rumour, it should be taken with a grain of salt.

Up next, GameNGuide points out that "rumours swirl around coded messages that Ubisoft has been sending out themselves via their AC Initiates Twitter page." One Tweet supposedly contained numbers that turned out to be coordinates to Barguzin, Russia.
Russia seems to be a plausible setting for a game based on "Assassin's Creed: The Fall" comic book series that follows the story of Nikolai Orelov, the famous Russian Assassin, during the 1880s.

Infamous Second Son

Infamous is set in a open world setting, where the player can do as they please. Parkour is a major element and players can destroy the environment to their use. Just like other InFamous games, players can be good or bad, changing Delsin's powers and a little of the story line. While Second Son doesn’t quite live up to the enormous hype it has generated, it still arrives as the best PS4 exclusive yet, and a must-have for early adopters looking to show off what their new console can do.

Second Son reboots the superhero action-adventure Infamous franchise with a new protagonist, Delsin Rowe, in a totalitarian-occupied Seattle. Delsin, an over-the-top punk with a penchant for graffiti, absorbs powers from other Conduits, the term for people in the Infamous universe with the genetic ability to absorb and wield elements from the surrounding environment.Delsin can go through air vents and as the player expands their powers, they can execute bigger moves to create more damage to enemies and the environment.

The game looks stunning. We’ve been waiting for developers to tap the tremendous processing potential of the PS4, and Second Son is definitely off to a good start. The next generation is here, and it is slick.Sucker Punch has said that Second Son is designed so that newcomers to the Infamous series can dive in without knowing the backstory. While I had a number of gripes about the game, it still succeeded at capturing the thrill of discovering new Conduit powers and unleashing them on your enemies, and Sucker Punch earns bonus points for making this look good.
