Halo 5 delayed to 2015
Halo 5 is the as yet unofficial title for the new Halo game officially announced at E3 2013 by 343 Industries.Developed by 343 Industries, which was responsible for Halo 4, the game was announced with a 2014 release date for the Xbox One.
Developer 323 Industries originally scheduled the Halo 5 release date for some time in 2014. This was when the game was originally announced at E3 2013 though, so we expected that loose release date to have a little launch leeway.
However, we may have to wait until next year to get Halo 5 as the voice of Master Chief, Steve Downes, revealed that 2014 may have been a bit optimistic.
“I think you may be ahead of yourself on Halo 5,” said Downes in an interview with GameZone. “I wouldn’t expect anything until 2015.
Although there’s been very little information released so far, we do have some concrete evidence that there will be some more news at E3 2014, or maybe even before.
“We showed a hint of what we have in store at E3 last year and we’re excited to share more in the not-too-distant future. Please be patient – we can’t wait to show you what we have in store,” explained 343 Industries Executive Producer Josh Holmes in a blog post back in January 2014.
All we know about the Halo 5 storyline is what little we can glean from the E3 trailer. Master Chief is shown roaming cloaked in the desert, before being presented with a huge robotic bird that emerges from the sand. To be honest, there’s very little details provided, and even 343 Industries said the footage is merely representational rather than direct game footage.
Take a look at the one and only Halo 5 trailer, released in line with the game’s announcement at E3 2013 in June last year. http://bcove.me/r4rhvfhd
